There’s inherent value in stories that are entirely made up. Part of the magic is that they can be subtle wrappers around tricky issues – it’s easier to discuss a sensitive topic when done within the context of an alien civilization.
If the year ahead is even half as interesting, it will be a powerful thing to experience.

I watch a bus pass by, carrying with it a score of frustrations, hopes, fears, ambitions, and stories. Each and every one precious in its uniqueness and untellable in its scale. Just pausing for a moment to appreciate the grandiose nature of the world around me is breathtaking.
